— DISCOVER THE DIVERSITY —

WALPOLE-NORNALUP NATIONAL
PARK ASSOCIATION

The Walpole-Nornalup National Park Association (WNNPA) was established in 1987 to increase the understanding and awareness of the Walpole-Nornalup National Park. Since that time our area of interest has expanded to cover the ten National Parks that surround Walpole and make up the Walpole Wilderness Area as well as the Walpole-Nornalup Inlets Marine Park.

As a group we work on conservation based projects such as the peatland mapping project and Threatened Ecological Community (TEC) nomination. We also coordinate a range of walks and talks throughout the year and together with the local office of DBCA we undertake many conservation based activities within the wilderness area. One of our goals is to promote positive interactions and engagement with the wilderness through activities such as guided walks, specialist talks and our recent inaugural Walpole Wilderness BioBlitz.

By becoming a member of the WNNPA, you will allow us to continue our conservation, research and promotion of this special part of the world. Members will receive newsletters with information about upcoming events.
